Maus Jewelers responds to Urgent Plea by Daily News

In response to the November 23, 2007 front page article by John Buchel, in the West Bend Daily News on the urgent need of food for the Full Shelf Food pantry, Ray and Lynne Maus, owners of Maus Jewelers held a Customer Appreciation Day on December 1, 2007 and invited customers to bring in a non-perishable food item for the pantry. In appreciation, they received a gift. The response by customers and employees was impressive inspite of Saturday's winter storm.

"It was a pleasure to help the food pantry. Helping is the least I can do for a community that has supported my business for the past 25 years," stated Ray Maus.
